Our Projects
Birch Creek Elementary School, located in McDonough, Georgia, is a 101,000 square foot new build project complete with 50 classrooms, a STEM lab, an outdoor classroom, and other amenities. Moreso, construction included a 120-foot, four-lane precast bridge connected to the school. This project was completed in June 2024 and is part of the Henry County Public School system.
Clayton County Athletic Fields is a two-part project involving demolition, new construction, and renovations to athletic facilities across five Clayton County high schools. Completed in January 2024, this comprehensive project consisted of improvements to sports fields, gymnasiums, and stadiums.
MEJA completed repair modifications and renovations on Pike County Auditorium, including improvements to two classrooms and main auditorium, as well as reconstruction of the building's lobby, concessions, and restrooms. This project was completed in August 2023 and is part of the Pike County Public School system.
The Forest School is a 15,000-square-foot, new educational facility located in the Trilith development in Fayetteville, Georgia. The school consists of four individual buildings that feature glass roll-up doors for open-air learning. This project was completed in August 2023.
MEJA completed extensive modernizations and renovations to Fayetteville Elementary School, including the construction of a 1,153-square-foot Connector Corridor from the gymnasium to the main building, an expanded parking lot, new front canopy, and new interior finishes. This project was completed in July of 2023 and is part of the Fayette County Public School system.
MEJA completed modifications and renovations to the former Eastside High School to transform the building into a K-8 school. Improvements included new parking lots, playgrounds, a new cafeteria, a refinished gym, updated auditorium, new bathrooms, and decorative finishings. This project was completed in February 2023 and is now known as the Newton County STEAM Academy.
Morrow High School, located in Morrow, Georgia, is a 344,727-square-foot, three-story building and 2,000-seat, arena-style gymnasium connected by an elevated bridge. The new school includes several specialty classrooms, as well as state-of-the-art athletic facilities. This project was completed in July 2022 and received an AGC Build Georgia Award. This school is part of Clayton County Public Schools.
JC Booth Middle School, located in Peachtree City, Georgia, is a 180,000 square-foot school complete with 90 classrooms, three classroom wings, new entrance drive, parking lots, bus drop-off, and new athletic fields. This project was completed in May 2022 and is part of Fayette County Public Schools.
MEJA completed renovations and additions to the existing Northgate High School in Sharpsburg, Georgia. Two separate projects included a complete mechanical and electrical renovation of the existing campus, as well as a 15-classroom addition with two new parking lots and a bus drive. This project was completed in July 2022 and is part of Coweta County Public Schools.
Michelle Obama STEM Elementary, located in Hampton, Georgia, is a new 180,000 square-foot school designed to resemble the shape of a leaf and complete with STEM labs, an engineering lab, and an outdoor wetland conservation area. This project was completed in July 2021 and is part of the Clayton County Public School system.
MEJA completed additions and renovations at Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Georgia. This project consisted of a new multi-level addition with classrooms, science labs, special education spaces, and other features, as well as renovations to parking lots, hardscapes, landscaping, and utilities. Completed in July 2021, this school is part of Clayton County Public Schools.
Henry County Performing Arts Facility is a two-story, stand-alone building comprising over 49,000 square-feet. The facility features 1000 seats, a production catwalk system, large performance stage, dressing rooms, orchestra pit, classrooms, and more. This project was completed in January 2020 for the Henry County Board of Education.
MEJA completed a 41,000 square-foot addition on Alexander High School, located in Douglasville, Georgia. The two-story addition includes 20 classrooms, science and computer labs, offices, and special education classrooms. This project was completed in June 2020 and serves Douglas County Public Schools.
MEJA completed additions on Chesney Elementary School, including a 33,000 square-foot, two-story addition with classrooms, offices, and workrooms, and an expansion to the cafeteria and kitchen. This project was completed in May 2020 and serves Gwinnett County Schools.
MEJA completed renovations and modifications to AZ Kelsey Academy & Mainstay Academy, consisting of new finishes, lighting, roofing, HVAC units, and sidewalks. This project was completed in August 2020 and serves Griffin-Spalding County Schools.
McDonough High School, located in McDonough, Georgia, is a 280,000 square-foot, 2-story new build project consisting of 86 classrooms, an agriculture lab and greenhouse, science labs, fine arts rooms, a gymnasium, and a rifle range, amongst other athletic facilities. This project was completed in May 2019 and is part of Henry County Schools.
East Clayton Elementary School, located in Ellenwood, Georgia, is a 120,000-square-foot new-build project featuring classrooms, a full-service kitchen, a media center, a gymnasium, two playgrounds, and other amenities. This project was completed in March 2018 and is part of Clayton County Public Schools.
Monroe County Fine Arts Facility is a 38,000-square-foot new construction project that features over 1,100 seats, as well as a 5,000-square-foot stage, dressing rooms, a green room, and more. This project was completed in November 2016 for the Monroe County Board of Education.
Hampton High School, located in Hampton, Georgia, is a 275,000-square-foot new build facility complete with 48 classrooms, science labs, a gymnasium, a music hall, a horticulture lab and greenhouse, and several athletic fields. This project was completed in July 2014 for Henry County Schools.
Thomaston Fine Arts Center is a 31,000 square-foot facility complete with 950 seats, a large stage, dressing rooms, a green room, a large front atrium, and more. This project was completed in December 2014 for the Upson-Lee County Board of Education.
